We are directly involved in all our projects

Since we started in 2012 Safeplan Uganda organisation has gained sufficient management experience, we have worked with the communities of Masindi and other parts of Uganda.
 
The organization has taken its support to refugee communities in Arua, Yumbe and pastoralist community in Karamoja region.

Our internal system assist in ensuring effective management of the implementation of our projects funded by donors to benefit the community.

We work to achieve our objectives through five focus areas:

free behives

We support women and youths with free beehives which they can pay in installment for a period of 2 years with the honey they harvest. 

We sale and distribute energy cookstove and solar home system to rural communities. The communities pay for the products in cash and on installment until they own energy impact product that reduce poverty through reduced energy spending.

EDUCATION

Skills training

We allow learners practice the skills they have acquire to perfect and get ready for the job market.
Peer learning is highly encouraged among the trainees which promotes equal participation for all.

Liquid soap making

We promote non discriminatory skills training for everyone. We train on carpentry, Tailoring, Liquid and bar soap making and energy cooking stove fabrication.
